Field Service Technician

REQUIREMENTS
- The ideal candidate will possess an Associates Degree in an Electronics program, or similar work experience.
- Two years of prior experience repairing office equipment is preferred, but not required.
- Local travel throughout the Chicagoland area is required daily to current accounts to repair equipment. Must own transportation with a valid driver's license.

Sales Trainer
Location: Rosemont, IL
Plans, coordinates, directs and conducts new hire training, on-boarding, selling skills and product training for the entire sales organization.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in ongoing development and facilitation of IMAGETracks required training modules.
- Performs selling skills/product training for sales teams in all branch locations on a weekly basis.
- Conducts on-boarding training with new hires including ride days, customer visits, demonstrations, etc.
- Ensures that new hire on-boarding program is followed and completed through weekly progress reports and on-going communication with new hires and sales management.
- Meets with management team to identify general product, selling skills and work habit areas that need development; determines current and anticipated sales training needs.
- Develops and implements formal training programs, policies and schedules using knowledge of identified training needs, company processes and operating systems, as well as upcoming changes in products and/or services.
- Selects training procedures and materials based on knowledge of training methods such as group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, interactive training (role playing) and individual coaching.
- Trains sales managers in effective training techniques for general and specialized areas, including specific on-the-job training skills and techniques.
- Meets with customers and vendor representatives to evaluate and promote possibilities for enhanced and ongoing training needs.
- Analyzes training statistics to identify areas requiring improvement.
- Reviews market analysis information to determine training needs.
- Maintains adequate knowledge about all existing and new products and their applications.
- Attends vendor led product and sales training classes.
- Maintains adequate knowledge about competition to aid in the assessment of training needs.
- Continuously support the sales effort through all phases of operations.
- Cooperates with and provides support for all company programs and policies developed for the promotion of company sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Continually review and monitor training programs to ensure employee participation and their effectiveness and report results to V.P. of sales on a monthly basis.
- Develop and maintain a resource library of training materials.
- Identifies job skills and requirements for positions within company to aid in the development and enhancement of position descriptions.
- May assist in the initial interviewing of selected sales candidates.
Education, experience and skills required:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, education, communications, or related field, or equivalent education or experience.
- Three to five years-professional experience teaching and training others, including two years supervising and managing staff and programs.
- Exceptional verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and to meet deadlines.
